Our Wedding Shots

J&S @Europe08 Day 6: Paris

Rise and shine for the last day in Paris!

1st up was Musée d'Orsay,on the left bank of the Seine, housed in the former railway station

A nice shot by Dear!

During this trip to Paris, we took more RER (Réseau Express Régional) than the Paris Métro. The RER is an integration of a modern city-centre subway and a pre-existing set of regional rail lines. Within the city of Paris, the RER serves as an express network, offering multiple connections with the Métro. Perhaps it's due to our hotel located near to Gare du Nord which is an RER station. RER trains seem bigger and more rugged since they serve the suburb areas too.

At Musée d'Orsay RER station.(one of the few black and white shots we took)

Pont Alexandre III. It's an arch bridge that spans the Seine, connecting the Champs-Élysées quarter and the Invalides and Eiffel Tower quarter, commonly regarded as "the most ornate", "the most elegant", or "the most extravagant" in Paris.

On the other side is Les Invalides, a military museum.

Heh...there's a park beside this photo point. And we decided to make that another photo stop. Hee.

Next was Place de la Concorde

The winds were so strong that day and it rained too! Can still remember the uncomfortable feeling we had that day.

Along the way to Notre Dame...

Freaky gaint doll.

Another LV shop in Paris.

Pont des Arts in the day.

On Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris.

It's a pity we didn't have chance to sit the boat ride nor dine on board a boat. Next time!

My eyes can hardly keep open.

Taking cover at a nearby cafe for coffee n cake. Hehe. We seem to love taking tea breaks!

Finally, we reached Notre Dame...

I keep thinking the shots I took are blur so took multiple shots for Dear. In the end most turn out well and he posed differently in them too! Haha.

We love Centre Pompidou area so much, we went back again!

Centre Pompidou and the grey sky.

We caught sight of some interesting scruptures along some street. Hee.

After which we went for a buffet dinner nearby at Flunch!

With that, it concluded our Paris adventure! Next day is Milan!

This is the sign we always look out for at the underground to lead us to our hotel on that street. Hee.
