James & Sheena's 4th Year Anniversary (17th Sep 2009)

It's been really really ages since we last updated our blog. Been really really busy and occupied with so many things. However, we never ceased to spend time with each other despite being caught up with so many different things in various parts of our lives. Alas, it's 17th of the month again, this time it's the month of Sep, which means it's the day of the year! The 4th one during our courtship. We spent some really quality, fruitful and fun time together this day. Hope Dear had a great time! Happy 4th Year Anniversary...Love you lots! Thanks for loving me. Thanks for helping me. And I will never stop to help you help me. =D Muacks!

We took leave that day and met for a nice date before going cell group meeting together at night.

Us at PS TCC for lunch.

Our food:

Happy us who love nice & pretty food!

We caught the movie "The Ugly Truth"...not too bad. Tho "The Proposal" and "Time Traveler's Wife" are nicer in my opinion. Guess Dear found this show realistic and funny. Yeah, that's why it's "The Ugly Truth". Hee.

Thereafter, we went to SMU area to take pictures with "fei feis" - sculptures of fat things by my favourite sculptor Botero. :)

Dear is sooooooooooooooooooo sporting & cute! Haha!

Dear actually said perhaps we should do another impersonation of this sculpture...so I asked him if he was gonna be the bottom...HA HA HA! Anyway it's the nicest pic of the day!

I miss the lamp-post in Venice!

I love handmade cards/letters from Dear! Esp with my dearest baby inside! CUECUE!

Hee I love Q!

And Dear loves 8!

This is a jeep we saw in this museum...the whole vehicle is made of cooking appliances...and has a lot of Christian sayings and Bible verses written on it...the top has the words "In God We Trust". Yes we trust God always! Thank God for bringing us together and keeping us close always. I look forward every moment of my life together with you Dear! Muacks!

Btw, it's also the 17th today...Happy 49th Month :)

I will try to blog about my birthday celebration soon!

Happy 37th Month Anniversary!

Happy 37th Month Anniversary Dear! I enjoyed all this time spent with you!

Something dedicated to you...

My favourite scene from the Movie "Mamma Mia"

"Our Last Summer" Lyrics

I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
Walks along the Seine, laughing in the rain
Our last summer
Memories that remain

We made our way along the river
And we sat down in the grass
By the Eiffel tower
I was so happy we had met
It was the age of no regret
Oh yes
Those crazy years, that was the time
Of the flower-power
But underneath we had a fear of flying
Of getting old, a fear of slowly dying
We took the chance
Like we were dancing our last dance

I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
In the tourist jam, round the Notre Dame
Our last summer
Walking hand in hand

Paris restaurants
Our last summer
Morning croissants
Living for the day, worries far away
Our last summer
We could laugh and play

And now you're working in a bank
The family man, the football fan
And your name is Harry
How dull it seems
Yet you're the hero of my dreams

I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
Walks along the Seine, laughing in the rain
Our last summer
Memories that remain
I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
In the tourist jam, round the Notre Dame
Our last summer
Walking hand in hand
Paris restaurants
Our last summer
Morning croissants
We were living for the day, worries far away...

Living for the day, worries far away...Our last summer...We could laugh and play...

Our last summer...Memories that remain

3 Year Anniversary Celebration

17th September is a very special day for us. It's the day we made a decision to love and commit to each other. I'm so blessed to have found you Dear. You too, complete me. :)

I remember 17th Sept 2005, we were joined by the witnesses of the moon and the stars as we embarked on our life-changing journey together. And the following 2 years anniversaries, we had wonderful celebrations. However, this time round, it was all the more special coz we both started our day in great expectancy and went through the day's work before coming together at night. It's the year which I started working! It can also be really nice to meet after work in formal wear for a nice dinner and stroll at night. I guess we are a couple who always makes the best out of our situations and tight schedules. Our dating always works around church services and cell group meetings, Dear's classes and work, my studies (in the past & probably in future as well), our families' gatherings and some other ad-hoc programmes. Perhaps this has made us cherish our time together even more. :)

We actually went for a further study programme talk before our nice dinner at Heeren NYDC. Thank you Dear for attending that with me on our special day! Haha...It's really so nice to be able to have Dear's company on a wednesday coz he usually has class. But somehow that day he didn't have class. Hee.

Even though this picture is very dark, it shows a more accurate representation of the ambience we had there.

Here are the brighter and clearer pictures of us:

And our food!

3 Amigos (baked rice)

Boney Dog (the cheesy hot dog was delicious!)

Mudpie! - Grandma go Nuts (or something like that, man, it was indeed super nutty! filled with my favourite macademia nut goodness!)

Dear made a card for me...I love receiving cards from Dear...:)

Dear knows I love my duck, Cuecue, he even drew her as the image on the stamp =D

Sweet~~!

I love reading what Dear wrote inside the card.

You need not do very fanciful stuffs all the time, but I still love every single thing you did for me simply becoz you did unto me with all your heart and soul and love.

I totally enjoyed every single moment spent with you Dear! I love you! =)

P.S. There are numerous backdated posts to be published soon. Stay tuned. :)

3 Year Anniversary!

HAPPY 3 YEARS TOGETHER DEAR!!!

LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOU TONIGHT :)

MUACKS~~~

Sheena - 31st Month Anniversary

My exams are over! Haha... And Dear didn't manage to finish blogging about all our adventures! Maybe we are really too happening! LOL! Also, Dear takes blogging rather seriously...He thinks quite a bit before typing much. Hee. When he's really in the mood, he'll be busy PS-ing the pictures as well. Now you know who's the more dedicated blogger! So unlike yours truly...Blogging to me is like typing how I feel and it just comes out rather naturally. Hahaz. Maybe I'm too free right now. Perhaps when I start working, I'll feel too tired to blog so often. =P

Okies...This entry is about our 31st month anniversary celebration. It's also the day of submission of my Design project. That's my last school project! Haha. I met Dear for a simple dinner at suntec before going Esplanade for some icecream treat.

We had my favorite Haagen Dazs. I seriously can't remember the name of item we ordered. I only know it's mainly/mostly Macademia Nut (icecream + nut) - also my favorite! Hahaz.

Happy Happy Anniversary Dear!

Sheena - 30th Month Anniversary...900+ Days of Bliss and Counting...

It's the time of the month once again! It's our Anniversary! and it's...*drum rolls* our 30th Month together! WEE~!~!~!

At this very moment, Dear is actually in Taiwan, he's there for training for two weeks starting today. I'm already missing him the very moment I sent him off through the departure gantry. However, Dear has made sure we had a proper celebration still, an advanced one that is. He brought me to Marina Square Waraku for dinner last Monday. It's somewhere that we have always wanted to try but did not have the chance to. It's either always too crowded or not in the way. I'm so happy we finally went and on a weekday night somemore, where it's so quiet and nice. Hee.

Marina Square Waraku...super secluded on its own near Millenia Walk that side.

While waiting for our food...

Dear in the shirt I gave him for his birthday last year. Don't you think he looks great in formal? Hee...

After our food came...

Us with the food...

If you didn't already exclaim at how big the portions are, look at the close-up view of our food...

Dear's food

And this is mine! OMG

Dear was saying that my bowl of udon is big enough for me to wash my face!!! The set meals are so interesting! You actually get BOTH noodles and rice, each in a person's serving. Too value for money already. Next time we shall just get one set and order other set dishes. Haha.

And we had a dessert...

Peach Icecream! And it's really in the form of a peach! It's super nice! It tastes like peach too! *duh* Hahahaha

The inside...there's a chocolate nut inside too...

Happy+Blissful us...overly satisfied with the food too...!

Love you Dear! Thanks for feeding me with lotsa food and love! XOXO!

This period when Dear's away, we actually wrote letters to each other, one for a day that we are apart, and we gave each other without knowing the other did that too...

Dear's letters are very sweet...I've read two so far...Day 0 and Day 1. He gave me a bible verse a day. And today's verse is

Mark 10:9 "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."

Dear is so smart! He says "you will like this verse"...and I really like it. *grins*

I can't wait to see you soon! Two weeks will be over in a blink of an eye! *smiles*
