Our Wedding Shots

Kaishian & June's Wedding

18th May 2008 is a very special day! It's my Erjie's wedding! It's the first time I'm so involved in helping out for a wedding. This is also true for Dear! We've certainly learnt a lot from my sis' wedding. It's really a joy to see everything being rolled out according to plan. Kudos to Erjie and Kaishian for their efforts in wedding preparations.

The day started off with Erjie getting dolled up and waiting for her groom to come our place.

Took a pic with Erjie when she still has her veil on...

After the tekan-ing of the groom, we hurriedly took some pics before the newly weds had to leave our house for outdoor photo-taking. Here's the first complete family pic for the day!

Dear and me drove my Erjie's car to join in the outdoor photo-taking at Clarke Quay.

A group shot with the wedding couple! The guys and girls are part of the big entourage! They had been really helpful throughout the wedding day. It's great to have a great bunch of friends who are really willing to help on your special day.

Another pic with my dearest Erjie. She's so pretty on her big day!

After the tea ceremony at the groom's place and the changing to chinese traditional costumes at their new house, the couple came back to our place for tea ceremony for the bride's side.

Another family photo...We love completeness. :)

Finally the couple can rest a bit before getting busy for the night's events. Hee. We all had to rush to bring all the thing required for the banquet to the hotel. Erjie has put Dear in charge to coordinating the transport of things. It's really stressful as we can't leave out anything! But thank God, all went well!

It was really a great rush to get all ready and prepared in our attire for the solemnization and banquet on top of ensuring the wedding procedure was proceeding to plan. Thankfully, Dajie and me made it in time to man the reception table and to witness the main details of Erjie's solemnization.

My glamourous family...Everyone looks so good! We are a pretty-looking family! From the head of the family to the little ones. The boys and girlgirl were major highlights too! They were part of the adorable and lovable page boys and flower girls!

The banquet hall looked really awesome! The ambience at Swissotel the Stamford's Stamford Ballroom was captivating! (Coincidentally it was the same hotel which our Dajie had her wedding banquet at years ago. Hee.) The food was delicious and warm. The programme from the start to finish was engaging and touching. It's possibly one of the best fairy-tale wedding anyone can dream of.

Here's some photos taken at the many tables...Mainly with our church friends. There's like about 50 tables in total? Imagine the newly weds had to pose and smile so much throughout the day! But it's their big day! Once in a lifetime! It's all worth it! And I bet the smiles were all natural and from the heart!

Our VIP table was a huge one which sits 20 people and it's too big to have a normal table shot. Hence we had to stand classroom photo style. Hee.

The VIPs...

We took some extended family photos too! Presenting to you our external maternal family...Notice how big the red roses were! Those were the ones planted on the VIP chairs. Hee.

We also took some photos with my cell group friends who came for my Erjie's wedding.

Us and our pretty cell group leader who was the chinese emcee for the night!

Dennis & Carol and us...

All 5 of us...

Some pictures of Dear and me...The first time Dear wore suit! Suave and handsome! I like! :)

We wish great blessings to be upon my Erjie and 2nd Brother-in-law in their marriage and future life together!

I'm so missing the days together with my Erjie at home! But fortunately we do meet up every now and then for family gatherings. Hee. A happy and loving family is the best! =)
