Actually I'm not a really birthday person in general, to the point where I didn't realize that it was already my turn when my CG friends sprung a cake out and started singing 'Happy Birthday to You'.... At that moment I was wondering, "MMMM...today celebrating whose birthday??"
Until they started walking nearer towards me with the candle-lit cake and the singing directed at me, did I realize,
OMG! MY BIRTHDAY?? I TOTALLY FORGOT SIA! <-- haha *laughing at my silly self!
Anyway they made me extinguish a congested cake filled with candles, say a unprecedented speech and presented me with a lovely gift *Thanks Dennis and Carol! I like it alot!* Many hugs and handshakes followed :) HEHE.
Of course, I have not forgotten the person who orchestrated this celebration, it was none other than MY PRECIOUS DEAR! heheh, she ordered a absolutely scrumpcious Chocolate Truffle Cake from Hans and even specially made refreshments for everyone that day. She's such a darling!
On the actual day itself, Dear was the first to greet me happy birthday on the stroke of midnight and many heart warming smses followed after... Thanks guys for remembering! heheh
Dear planned another celebration for me that day, I was completely estatic when I met her at Fish and Co. (Glass House) I knew it wasn't gonna be just a simple dinner when I saw the bags and the huge grin she was carrying :)
Sidenote: This (the LOVE structure) incidentally was the place where we took pictures on our first date as a couple. Carries special significance in our hearts ;) Will never forget that night!

The Beautiful Mastermind
We got seated and looked through the menu hungrily hehehe.. Decided against ordering the Seafood Platter for two as we wanted to try something beyond what we usually ordered.
The Peri Peri Catch was an unknown fish, which was smothered with an equally unknown Peri Peri Sauce which was not really spicy, and not really tangy at the same time. Came with crunchy veggies and chips.
The Swordfish Collar was massive! 2 enormous pieces of swordfish collarbone fried & served with spicy mango vinaigrette, with crunchy veggies and garlic rice. On the first taste, it was hard to differentiate it from crispy fried chicken! Have to say this fish has a really meaty texture and flavour, and it was fried to a crisp and was piping hot! Good value.
We ordered dessert, while waiting for it, I ate the cake Dear bought. This time round it was from TCC, a chocolate cake as well. She wanted to get from Starbucks, but the place was fully packed due to the free coffee giveaway. I liked it. Left a sweet aftertaste in my heart ;)
The Crème Brûlée arrived soon after. It looked disappointing at first, but upon tasting the first spoonful of the velvety, silky pudding, we were sold on it! The vanilla fragrance was really strong and the sweetness was spot on. Only gripe was that the topmost layer of sugar wasn't really caramelised enough. 
It was Gift presentation time!

There was Birthday card too! The black card with golden words embossed on the exterior, very classy and chic. I like!
