James - Eat and eat and eat Part 2

We made a trip down to Far East Plaza for Dear's pedicure appointment, after which, we were famished and decided to head to Sakura Halal Thai Restaurent on the topmost floor of Far East Plaza for some Thai food. Have been wanting to bring Dear here for the longest time. This place serves really nice and affordable Thai food.

Here's presenting to you my collage of the food we had there. YUM!

The Thai beef noodles was good, the beef was a tad overcooked though. Gotta activate my mouth's grinding action to chew it down hahah

The Seafood fried rice was not too salty or oily, which was good :) Though the seafood offered was minimal, with the odd piece of prawn and squid here and there.

Oh the Thai milk tea didn't go quite well with me, felt that it tasted overly like diluted condensed milk. Those who can tell the difference between diluted condensed milk and condensed milk will know what I'm talking about. In short, the Milk tea tasted more of milk than tea. BAAAD!

The Thai Red Ruby was excellent!! The crunchy red rubies is a fabulous companion to the sweet milk syrup and was absolutely refreshing to eat. We really enjoyed this dessert! Brings us back to the times where we had this same dessert in the MBK Food Court in Bangkok! Left us with a sweet sensation in our mouths as well as our minds :)

Trivia time! Did you know that Red Rubies are actually Water Chestnut covered with colored starch?

Okies! That's all for this entry! More to come! Stay tuned! The best is yet to come!
