This is gonna be ALL abt the Mayday "Jump" Concert 2007!
We have been looking forward to it for months n I even had the date n time of it written on my msn nick to remind me of something wonderful to look forward to. Hehe. On sat when it was finally gonna be the day of the concert, I was super excited. I juz couldnt nap in the day coz I was so anxious to go for it. In addition, my parents were really nice to allow me to drive our small car to Expo for the concert. Of coz, they wouldnt have agreed if Dear weren't sitting beside me. Hehe. My poor Dear went for 2 classes in a day n had to buy dinner back for me b4 going to the concert. So the most I could do was to drive him there rite? *Grins* We had a great time singing along to Mayday's songs in the car n enjoyed the feeling of being in the car all by ourselves. *Winks*
This was the very 1st pic we took in the car. The moment we settled everything (esp putting my pair of irritating 'P' plates which kept dropping coz I had to use hooks "______"), juz b4 setting off, we took this pic. Can see that we were super happy n excited rite? Haha.
We took like 45mins to get to Expo leh. Dear was like exclaiming that it was super long. Haha. But I dont think i drove very slowly what. Haha.
We took quite some time to find a parking lot n to park properly. But we both thought the car was parked perfectly! with equal amounts of space on the left n right n it was straight as well. Hehe.
Evidence that the parking was perfect (in our opinion. lol) But hatchback cars r really easier to park. Hee...(still, don't discredit me coz of the size of the car, LOL)
Teehee, a very very happy driver. Haha.
We took our time to walk towards the Max Pavilion tog with loads of others. N also our church had a service which ended at 8 as well so we saw some church ppl coming out from Hall 8 too. Hee bumped into Olivia...Haha it's very interesting how we always bumped into her b4 going for Mayday concert, n she'll always know n ask us "going to watch 五月天 rite?"... Lol...Actually it's only 2 times...But 2 out of 2 => always. Haha.
Dear's older sis also joined us for the concert. She's a long-time Mayday fan. Last time when I havent met Dear, he always go Mayday concerts with her wan. & both times was her who helped us book the tix. Thanks to her!
we have finally entered the vast hall & settled in our seats. hee. Oh, we were not alone in taking pics of ourselves while sitting in the huge hall. Flashlights of digicams n camera fones were flashing like never b4. Haha.
For "Final Home" concert 2 yrs ago, Dear bot me a traffic light looking (coz got red, yellow n green) light stick (looks like a shorter version of a star wars light sabre, can extend out kind), n we both agreed it wasnt very nice but then that was the only one left on sale then... But this time round...we bought this super nice looking light stick, it's the kind where there is some twinkling dots inside this transparent tube, n when u switched it on, there will be different colors lighting up (n rotating the dots) every few seconds. (Oops, pardon me if the description sounds funny, but I'm trying my best to describe it...haha).

As the lights slowly went out, the big screen showed a video clip set in an epidemic-hit future n everyone screamed! Haha...The 5 Mayday members were part of it. Then it had some abrupt ending where the enemies came to attack them n the song "倔强" was played. That marked the beginning of the concert! Guitarists Monster & Stone came down (i think it shld be down, correct me if i got wrong) on the 2 flanks where the other 3 came on (dunno how they came on tho, lol) the centre stage. I love "倔强". This song incidentally became the closing song of the concert as well.

this pic was very well taken! so near. Now Stone is the guy on the right. hehe. Even tho we got the most expensive tix, we were still rather far n got to snaps pics relying heavily on the camera zoom. nvm, the last time we sat even further. We'll get nearer the nx time!
a picture of Ashin jumping! Since his concert is named "Jump", there has to be some jumping involved rite? Haha... They sang this song that kept having the word "跳" n each time Ashin said that word, he'll 跳! haha...so Dear managed to catch him in the act. But too bad, they were all moving so swiftly that the pic became blur. haha. He made all of us jump tog with them, saying that instead of breaking the roof this time, we shall all break the ground instead n leave the surface of the Earth. hehe. Also, Ashin was wearing this tee which was designed by himself - a white-based tee with silver prints. It was selling outside the hall at $60. We weren't allowed to remove the tee from its package to see how big is it n there's only medium size left, so we din buy. Else, i think it wld look great on Dear! He's my Singaporean Ashin! (haha, Dear has the same bdae as Ashin! 6th Dec, tho different year. ;P)
The concert hall had these white dolphins hanging above the stage & Dear thought they looked really cute & tried so hard to take a good pic of them. He finally did it on this attempt! haha..

some really meaningful words part of the video of some song they were singing. I cant rmb the particular song title but this video also has the words "Dream", "Imagine" & "Revolution" in it.
In the middle of the concert, as usual, after the opening "high" songs, Ashin wld introduce the entire band n background workers n give acknowledgements to the sponsers. His attempt to pronounce the sponsers with English names was really hilarious. He also urged us not to buy ＂中国版＂cds, if not the producers will have no money n the consequence will be Mayday will not come. Hehe the way he phrased it was really humourous.
Ashin also cheekily gave a bouquet of flowers to Guan You (from a fan I reckon) after the latter sang the last line of the "Rubbish Truck/垃圾车"

this is the video for "宠上天"! & I seriously think this video is damn cute! Monster's cousin (some drummer) made the crowd laugh by doing some funny hand actions. & everyone started waving their hands in the air as they sang along this song. hehe.
Masa had a great attempt with his rendition of Coldplay's "Yellow". Tho, some people ard were saying that they cant understand what he was singing. Hmmmm, I think otherwise, it was quite coherent in my opinion.
Another highlight of the concert was when they made everyone shout & sign the letters L.O.V.E to the song "In LOVE-ing". Hee, they really engaged EVERYONE, even the ones at the back. So it was really really very amazing.

Of coz all good things muz come to an end, & even with 2 more songs after the audience called for encore, we still hope the concert will not end. Nonetheless, we did enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. & it was juz time to see them take the bow as we clapped on.

Everyone only accepted it was the end of the concert after the lights went on. & boy, how bright it was after such prolonged period of darkness with colorful lightings concentrated on the stage only.

We left the hall to head towards the car. It really took us ages to get out of the jam packed carpark. Nonetheless, it was nothing compared to walking a great deal to flag a cab. Thank God for that!
Cant wait for the nx Mayday concert hopefully 2 yrs later again!
