We were kinda amazed by our ability to go through so many activities in the month of Dec 2008. Haha. Almost immediately after the Candlelight service in church, we went down to Bugis to meet Dear's friends for a lunch gathering. We ate at Shokudo! The waiter was pretty nice to set up such a long table for us. The food was pretty good as well. The only thing was they sort of screwed up some of our orders. But I guess it's inevitable at times when a big group is served.
It's nice to catch up with them, hearing of their stories - a combination of post-marriage life, life after having a child, preparation for marriage and also some other under the sun talks. Hee. It's interesting how we have gatherings at significant times of the year. :)

After lunch we had a tiny bit of time to walk around, before we went into Sketches Pasta Cafe for another dinner gathering with my NJ classmates.
Took some pictures with my humble E71 while waiting for a few others to come...
Have to say, the E71 camera is really not fantastic. Haha. But just for the fun of it, Zhuzhu and me wanna take pictures on her Iphone and my E71 respectively. I somehow think her 2mp Iphone camera takes better pics than my 3.2mp E71! Haha...
This pasta cafe serves pretty interesting food...we get to DIY our pasta and pizza on a DIY form attached to a board with screws. Haha...

You simply can't gauge the size of this folded pizza man. Haha, this pic just don't do justice to its actual size and look. Haha. I think this was Zhiping's and he was like "huh what a curry pok?!?" Hahaha... It really resembled a humongous curry pok. But his was only "hungry size", Halim's was "starving size", even funnier... Those are the 2 choices for size for pasta and pizzas there. C'est intéressant huh? =P
And not forgetting my all-time favourite italian dessert - Tiramisu! It's not bad. Shared this with Dear. :)

Celebrated Cheesy Zihui's birthday in advance! It was supposed to be a surprise. Haha, but it's as much as a surprise she wanted it to be. =D
Here's the typical birthday procedure:
Step 1: Pose with the cake and say "cheese"!
Step 2: Close your eyes, make a wish in your heart and wait till the photographer says "pic taken"
Step 3: Hold the knife and pretend to cut the cake while posing for the camera again...remember to smile too!

Have to say this Sketches cafe is pretty nice and cozy for a Christmas time gathering, especially so with it's wood & brick furnishing, Christmas tree deco and lighting. Though the food is not exactly WOW, I would think it's quite a nice place to catch up with friends.
