James - Fun @ Kovan!

Brought Dear to Kovan to eat one of her favorite nasi lemak at the food centre(the stretch that leads to Kovan McDonald's) I still can remember the few occasions I had a privilege to taste this delicious Nasi Lemak because Dear's parents bought it back after their morning jog. The first time I had it, I fell in love with it! Though we always had difficulty differentiating which stall is the actual one as there are two Muslim stalls side by side selling the exact same kind of food in the same style!

That morning, we decided to try both to see which was the one that tasted more like one that Dear's parents bought back~

This one's rice was a bit too hard and dry, the omelette was the correct kind that Dear's parents bought last time tho. Chicken wing was so-so. Crunchiness was fair.

This stall's nasi lemak was superb, the rice was really soft and fluffy with the distinct 'lemak' coconuty taste, the chicken wing was also significantly crunchier, there wasn't any omelette on sale tho. Strange. Anyway we couldn't really differentiate any disparity with the yummy sambal chili from both stalls so no comments.

So at the end of it, we both concluded that the correct stall was Number 2 ie. the stall nearer to McDonald's. Perhaps they sold out on the omelette that day.

Oh! and we saw this hilarious sight that we couldn't resist taking a snap! This hairdressing salon was called JAMES AND YAN! HAHAHAH! It's funny because Dear's Chinese name is Mei-YAN! So strange to see our names on this signboard lar! *Giggles*
