Vivocity
I met Dear after school at Vivo. Being able to meet Dear after lessons makes ending at 6pm not so bad after all. Haha. But it was already my last week of school already. Hee.
I can't really remember if we had any agenda for the day but we were definitely meeting for a date! Haha! Dear brought me to Marche for dinner.
We tried some rather exotic and special food this time.First up...savory crepes! I was so craving for crepes and I saw this lady having some greenish crepes and Dear said perhaps it's green tea. It set my mind to have it. Prior to ordering it, we realised it was some green herbs crepe with apple, cinnamon, cucumbers and raisins! *gasps!* Topping it up was some sweet chilli sauce. Oh mine...It was...'orrible after more mouthfuls...I felt so bad Dear had to finish it up in the end...Oopsie...So much for being adventurous... :S
Carrot pasta with tomato sauce. Now this was better. Hee. I kinda enjoyed this but Dear thought it lacked taste. Alright, it was tonnes better than the previous yet rather unique too. Hee.
Our vegetable salad. Haha, we decided to be healthy! Not too bad dish. Dear liked this the most. =D
Us & Marche
Next we went to Pacific Coffee to laze around. There we had WHITE CHOCOLATE MADNESS.Hot white chocolate drink
White chocolate mud cake
Nicely settled on a cushion seat. :)
Bugis
Haha. Again, we didn't really had an agenda this day. But I remember we bought a cake to surprise my mum whose birthday was the day after. Hee. Oops, that shall be a separate post. :)
That day was super cold and so we decided to have a really HOT dinner. Hee. We had Seoul Garden! You must be thinking..."nowadays still got people eat Seoul Garden meh???"...You'll be surprised! The place was full-house man! Lol. Maybe they were all cold too... *teehee*
It was such a filling dinner! I think with age, we can't eat so much and so fast anymore. Haha. Indigestion is super uncomfortable! LOL.
Toa Payoh
I met Dear at Toa Payoh Hub after a friend's (Jason Ang) church wedding. It was raining so heavily that I took cab from Jurong West to Toa Payoh. Haha. Glad I made it there without being too drenched! Dear greeted me in a super smart-looking polo tee. Hee. I like. ;) We had Delifrance for lunch. Didn't expect the chicken mayo croissant to be so nice. Haha.Dear had a heavy breakfast while I had a couple of finger food at the wedding. Haha. So guess who ate the bulk of it? LOL.
Me & my superhero bf. :)
Town
After service on sunday, I accompanied Dear to the Starhub Road Show at outside Heeren to get his new phone. The details of his latest toy shall be elaborated in greater detail by him when he gets settled down. Haha. :pHere's us at the bus stop waiting for bus. Hee, we always managed to take pictures with nice backdrops even at the most ordinary places. Haha.
Marine Parade
Dear bought his new phone from Starhub at a great deal without trading in his old phone. So we went to Ah-Beng-Shop hunting at Marine Parade to sell off his old phone. Fetched quite a decent price. :) Dear's so smart!
We had a simple dinner at Marine Parade food centre. Guess what? It's our all-time favorite: Char Kway Teow + Hokkien Mee again! I felt Dear's Apollo Char Kway Teow (supposedly famous and known to be the 'wet' kind) looked dry but he said it's not bad. Hmmm. Hee different taste.
Dear remembered that recently I had a not-so-nice Ha Gao, so he suddenly got up in the midst of his dinner to get me one 'long' of Ha Gao. Hee I love Ha Gao. Nice!
Hee, what a long entry! It's a compilation of a few outings. Sorry for the picture quality as they were taken on my N73 (not a full-fledged digicam). Probably next time we can try taking on Dear's new phone (which has also 3.2megapixel camera, lol). So it's Nokia vs Sony Ericsson. Haha.
Haha. I shall take a break from blogging for the moment as my exams are approaching. I trust Dear will continue with the updates regularly. Hee. I look forward to his posts! =)
