I took half day's leave on V-day itself so could spend more time with Dear. I feel its nice to be able to spend more quality time and do more things together on this special day. And, as usual I wouldn't want to 'dishonor' the age old *ahem* commercialised tradition by not getting any presents and roses for Dear. But I hid the surprise till the actual day before telling her.
On with the day's activities!
First, met Dear at Plaza Singupura Ichiban Sushi for lunch. It was there where I presented her with the gifts and roses. Hahah really don't understand why girls will go gaga over flowers.. aiyah but nevertheless guys will still get for them lar!
This year's bouquet is abit unique and yet share a common trait of the Vday bouquets I got for Dear in the past years. Vday Bouquets I got for her have always come with a small stuffed animal toy embedded in the flowers or the stuffed toy will be outside the flowers. But this year... the stuffed animal is actually presenting the bouquet to her!!! The Bear can hold the flowers!! With its paws!! With No Help!!

Also gave her 2 Cards. One small one and one large one. Oh and I almost forgot, there are 3 Rocher Chocolates in the bouquet too... hee hee
Me with the Bear-quet!

After lunch we proceeded for our movie; P.S I Love You. It's a sentimental show, touching with light-hearted parts as well. In a nutshell, the male lead taught the female lead how to get over his death with post-dated letters to her. Overall, not a bad show to catch with your other half!

Us with the movie cut-out thingy
FYI: Bet you didn't know the male lead was the same actor who acted as the Spartan King Leonidas in the movie "300"
Here's his pic

Talk about a change of genre man!
After the movie, we adjourned to Hotel Rendezvous for dinner at The Coffee Club. Heard the food there's quite good, ambience was also quite nice. Cosy surroundings with comfortable seating. A perfect sanctuary for lovers to dine and chit-chat to a nice cup of coffee don't you agree? ;)

Took more photos there...

Like this photo alot... we both look like in bliss~

After dinner, we took a slow stroll from Hotel Rendezvous all the way thru SMU, Raffles City, Citilink and before settling down at Esplanade rooftop to take photos. The place was packed with like-minded couples, each lost in their own worlds, some were making out, some staring into each others eyes, some were whispering sweet nothings into each others ears... you can say the atmosphere is really in the mood for love...
We basically took some photos together with the nice scenery and backdrops. And found a secluded area under the stars to chat until it was late... Dear it was so nice to spend time with you! Thanks for a great Vday again! I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did! hehe looking forward to Vday 2009!

P.S: I LOVE YOU :)
