Dear and me bought some frozen food (calamari, fries, chicken wings) from the supermarket to fry. We also bought some kuehs from the nearby Kim Choo kueh shop. and rojak from the nearby coffeeshop. My mum was really nice to make glutinuous rice and red ruby for us. My Erjie too, she let us have her chocolate sauce from Australia to eat with fruits and marshmellows. We opted for 7-up/Sprite + orange squash for drinks. Hope our simple dinner suited your appetites!
We had a nice chat at the dinner table. It was quite amazing to see how all of them can interact well with one another with lotsa laughters. :) Too bad, we didn't manage to play some board games, esp Jumanji...course I was actually quite keen on it. But like what I've learnt from past gatherings...It's not always possible to do everything. Besides, what's most important is a fruitful bonding session. Guess, we just have to wait for next time to do the other stuffs. :)

Us with Dennis & Carol... When I knew Dear, he and Dennis were good friends in cell group. We have since changed a couple of cell groups before meeting him again in the same cell group. Coincidentally, I knew Carol years ago from cell group too. It's quite amazing how we went in different ways and end up meeting up again. Hopefully even when we don't end up in the same cell group in future, we'll still maintain this friendship. :)
Us with Shuping & Yueh Yang... They are my very good friends cum god sis and bro in NUS. They are part of the reason I still can look forward to going to school. When Dear and me are still in the midst of getting together, they (especially Shuping) have been really encouraging and concerned. Can we call ourselves Cyclobutene instead? Haha. *winks*
Us with Zhuxiu (aka Zhuzhu) and Chris... So glad they managed to make it that day. Though they came late and couldn't stay long, their presence were greatly felt and appreciated. Zhuzhu has been a really great friend of mine since J2 and we both got attached about the same time. Hope we'll all become great grand friends in future when we grow old! *smiles*
Us with Alvin and Zhongwei. Haha. It's a pity that Hwee Zi (Zhongwei's gf) can't make it and also Alvin has yet to tell me anything (if at all) about "the latest". Oops. Haha. But nonetheless, they are really fun to have in any gatherings. My two guy buddies, who used to have many theories on what kind of guy is ever suitable for me. Haha. I've found him! Toast to our friendships, dudes! =D
Lastly, I really appreciate Dear for helping me prepare for the gathering. All the clean up as well as preparation of food. Thanks DD! We'll a team! It was a great night. Thanks everyone!
