This time we tried the fish and chips and the Swanky Frankie(a massive hotdog)!
I made a big boo boo ordering the food.
I thought the hotdog just came on its own and not with any sides like fries and coleslaw, thus I 'upsized the fish and chips to a LARGE sized one. To my amazement, the hotdog actually came with side dishes! And it was too late to change the order as they have started cooking, so I had no choice but to literally 'swallow' my mistake down. hahahah!
Here's the fish and chips. Dear really liked it. The fish (we suspect is dory) is covered in crispy deep fried batter. It merged seemingly well with the fries and slaw, like how good fish and chips should be like! Oh by the way, the upsized version is same as the pic below but came with another small plate with a few pieces of the battered fish. Not quite worth upsizing in my opinion.
Here's Swanky Frankie! It's basically a enormous beef weiner/sausage/frankfurter/hotdog (or whatever you call it)wrapped with bacon and covered with cheese and wedged between a well-buttered hotdog bun! I tell you that has to be the largest hotdog I've ever eaten! I cannot even fit it into my mouth. Who ever can do that, must have a really big mouth man! Anyway it came with the usual fries and coleslaw as well. It goes well with the onions too!
We managed to clear most of the food, and throughout the entire journey back, we were complaining about how full we were and felt so bloated. Nevertheless, our tummies are filled with good food! So its worth the minor 'discomfort'......I wonder what good food we're gonna have next week! Its a foodventure every week!
