Just when I thought the movie was the main highlight today, I realised I was wrong. Dear brought me to Billy Bombers for lunch coz we saw it at The Cathay. He said "You haven't tried it b4 right?" Next moment, he ushered me to go in. Hee, I really didn't expect him to splurge for just a normal day's lunch. Hee.

My Seafood Platter. Hmmm, the mussels are nice but the fries, onion rings, dory fish are too oily. And the coleslaw tastes funny. Haha. Sounds bad hor. Lol.
Luckily, mine was a set meal so got 4 courses (including soup, dessert and drink). This soup is a redeemer for the set meal (apart from the mussels). The cream of mushroom soup is thick and tasty. Just the kind I like. But most places serve quite nice cream of mushroom soups also. Haha. The dessert was normal Ben & Jerry's coffee (with chocolate nuts!?!) icecream. The ice lemon tea also tastes weird. I thought this American food restaurant would serve ice lemon tea like Carl's Junior. But no. Much worse. Haha.
This is Dear's Beef Burger set. Can't remember the name of this main course. Notice the sauce on the beef formed star shape. Hehe. It's quite nice leh. Took a nibble of the burger. We share food wan mar. So can try more varieties. Haha. Unfortunately, the potato salad's potatoes were quite hard, think Kenny Roger's one much nicer.

Hee, next we rushed to catch our movie. Oh man, the show is really a great injustice to the book. So many things were cut and changed. Hai. I feel the show like has scenes that are so abruptly pieced together. I guess it's hard to put everything from the book into a show. But I really like the fighting scenes at the Ministry of Magic at the end. Though, it was also cut like mad, it did portray scenes that were close to what I imagined them to be from reading the book. Esp the part where Sirius died and fell onto the black veil and Harry battling with Voldermort within himself and triumphed. This show portrayed a better image of Harry in this book though, haha, he was really grumpty and angry most of the time. And, they seem to be paving the way for Harry's love life in the next show, coz they showed many "insignificant" scenes of Ginny looking longingly at Harry. And they seem to think Cho Chang is really gonna get off the set, they hardly show much of her other than the much-anticipated kissing scene with Harry. Her meeting with Harry at the school's owlery, her disastrous Valentine's day date with Harry at Hogesmade and some other insignificant parts of her in the book. She was not the one who betrayed Dumbledore's Army. Her fren was the one. So, she was made the scapegoat for this show. Haha. No quidditch scenes as well. In fact JK Rowling also says there'll not be much quidditch parts in the last book. I really can't wait for the final book to come out on 21st July. Haha. That few days that Dear mug real hard for his exams, I shall read real hard to finish the book. Haha. Please don't be too short, I wanna enjoy it. Haha.

Oops, this picture can't show Luna Lovegood and Ginny. I think other than Hermionie, Luna is the next prettiest girl le. Haha. I quite like this new actress' (Evanna Lynch) performance as Luna Lovegood. So dreamy and cute. Haha. But I don't think she looks this good according to the book. But I think Cho Chang and Ginny shld look better according to the book. And, if you guys are observant, you would notice Harry's rather short compared to the rest of the guys. Draco Malfoy, Ron, Fred, George, Longbottom, they are all towering over Harry in the show. I wonder if Daniel Radcliffe will grow taller to match up with the rest of them in the next 2 shows. Haha. Coz even Bonnie Wright (Ginny) and Emma Watson (Hermionie) are quite tall, think as tall as Radcliffe. Haha.

We decided to walk to Suntec to queue for Donut Factory Donuts! Haha. It was my wish though. Feel like eating and buying for our family members. Hehe. Along the way we took these pictures with the museum sculptures. Haha.
Haha, after 45mins of queueing (which is considered quite short as compared to people who queued for 2-4 hrs at the Raffles City branch). We got out reward!
Three and a half dozens of donuts! Haha. Madness right? One each for our families and one more for my Dajie which we passed to her already. The other half a dozen, we ate them for dinner. LOL. Donut madness. Hehehe.

Haha, we love donuts. Haha. Can't wait to try the Krisy Kreme (US/HK and other oplaces which I dunno) everyone's been talking about and the Mister Donut that's my Erjie's favorite (in Taiwan/Japan/Thailand have). Meanwhile, if we go Vivocity, maybe we could try and see how terrible Vinco Donut is. Haha.
