Sheena - A Fruitful Day!

On the Saturday that has just passed, Dear and I had a fruitful day out! Early in the morning, we took a bus down to Bugis to shop for my CNY clothes. I have been going out alone to search for new clothes, but to no avail. I really tried to hunt. But maybe coz I've been looking at the wrong places or I simply dunno how to see properly. Haha. Whenever I go shopping with Dear, I always manage to find nice clothes. Hehe. So I actually tried quite a no of nice dresses just moments after we hit the boutiques. Lol...But Dear didn't allow me to buy on impulse, I guess he thinks those were not really nice and suitable for me and he wants the best for me. So we kept on looking and finally lo and behold, at this particular boutique, he picked out a dress for me, which I tried and totally fell in love with it. It is also somehow very ME! Haha...But buying that dress alone was already $69, and by topping up to $100, I could get a pair of free shades of my choice. So in the end, I bought a top and a tube. Hee. I spent $107 in total and got a dress + a top + a tube + a pair of shades! Cool deal right??? Thanks to the great foresight of my Dear Boyfriend!

After which we went to have a feast for lunch at the food paradise at Bugis basement. Haha...

We had some chicken and meatballs threaded on satay sticks from Seoul Street Food. Hmmm, very Korean-tasting. Haha.

We finally tried the Westlake Kong Ba Bao! Haha...Not too bad...But my mum makes better Kong Ba Bao! CNY is coming! I hope my mum is making again!

Next up, we got ourselves a cup of 杯杯鸡 from 可口味! Hmmm...think we still prefer 士林's XXL chicken...more spicy, peppery and more shiok!

Last but not least, we got our hands on YELLOW FELLAS too! The spicy chilli crab with fresh cut fries was super super satisfying! Hee... Oh, and yellow is my fave color! Yellow is the color for all things good! Keke!

It was actually super paiseh and disruptive (on top of many things we got to carry + the food of coz) to take pics of the stalls and food...but it's all worth it to create a good review for them! LOL!
Soon after, it was time for Dear's class and my tuition, so we actually walked to Douby Ghaut since there isn't a straight bus in side from Bugis there. Hehe. It's good to walk off the fatty deposits we had in our tummies! LOL!

Since it was still early when we reached Douby Ghaut, we decided to go hang around in The Cathay. There we took some pictures. Hahaha...

Hee...happy me with my Hypnosis shopping bag! Haha... I quite like the clothes from there!

My handsome Dear!

hehe the CNY deco inside The Cathay!

And we simply love taking pics with movie ads! LOL!

Kung Fu Panda DD! I told Dear that his leg not high enough...and he exclaimed..."You siao ah???" HAHAHAHA!

Jumper DD!

Hee, me with my beloved 27 Dresses ad! Pinky pinky!

Oh, I love this elephant! so cute! Lol!

In the evening, after our individual afternoon agendas, we met up again, this time at Junction 8. Haha... We really been to the North, South and East of the island in a day man. There we did a bit of shopping but nothing's really was worth buying. Hence, we just had a nice dinner at KFC. I think we had a lot fries that day! Coz we had cheesy fries for dinner in addition to the yellow fellas one...Oops...fatty fat!

Just as we were walking towards the bus interchange to go back, something or should I say someone caught our eyes!

TaDa! Mr Monopoly! The character from my favorite boardgame! Hehehe... It's actually to ask people to vote for Singapore to be part of the 20 cities on the World Edition of the Monopoly game. Hehe. So you guys can go to The World's Greatest Game Goes Global...VOTE FOR SINGAPORE NOW! to cast your votes for our country! Haha. Vote starts 23 Jan and ends 28 Feb 2008! So hurry! Hehe...

It's such a happy and fun-filled day with Dear...Tiring as well...But, it's outings like this that makes life interesting! =)
