We had woke up super late yesterday and had to settle for brunch. So we dily daly a while before I suggested we go to United Square for Jalan Kayu Prata since Dear was craving for prata. But after taking a long bus ride to Novena, we ended up eating the quite well-known Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice just in front of the bus-stop we alighted. Hee. It's actually opposite the famous Novena Church.

Our dou miao vegetable...OMG it was such a huge serving for two lor...luckily we love to eat leafy things...muahahaha...I think it's more of only me...=XAfter brunch, Dear went for class while I went for tuition...we met again in the evening to go his house to cook dinner! Haha!
We made fish & chips! and cheng teng! But it was all with the great help from Dear's wonderful mum! Dear's mum is so funny when she taught us how to cook. Hee. Without her, the food may not taste as good man. Hee...

And homemade cheng teng...nice when hot and cold!It's really a fun process to cook and it's also quality time spent with your loved one when whipping out nice food together...and you also get to actually eat the "fruits" of your labour instantly! Haha... So, couples out there do consider cooking/baking things together...hee!
On the way back my house, we passed by this place that makes sculptures...and guess what? We saw the rat sculptures for CNY! Haha...Dear gave me a shock when he exclaimed that there were big rats!
