I waited in suspense for the entire week coz he told me he bought my present already since the beginning of the week. And to make my celebration with him more complete, I told him to give me on the actual day's night even though I would see him the night before (and even to 12midnight). Haha, I'm so impressed by my ability to suppress the urge to get it earlier as well as Dear's ability to keep the surprise far away from me! Normally his surprise gets ripped off by me before it became one. LOL. Wanna know what it is...? Read on.
As the clock strucks 12midnight of 13th Oct...Dear msged me...lol...and he was just right beside me in the cab lor...And he actually set handphone reminder...!?!?! YOU MEAN YOU NEED REMINDING?? HAHA... :) (And thanks to everyone who wished me as well...)
Finally, the long awaited night came...Dear came my house to wait for me prepare. He even did some hands-on work by tying the ribbon behind my dress. I was so touched that he took so much pains to tie for me. I was feeling quite warm and told him it's fine already...But he just replied "No...I want tie a nice ribbon for my DD..." *Melts*
Dear drove me to Dempsey Hill...Hehe...He has fulfilled so many of my dreams since I was a little girl...heehee...To cut my 21st Birthday cake with me...(and of course the birthday cakes thereafter)...And...to drive me around at night...I love to be driven by my King James!
Dear brought me to Oosh (fine dining) at Dempsey Hill for dinner. The ambience there is wonderful. The cool night breeze and scenic surroundings really captivated me... (The above picture's background is my favourite painting by Van Gogh - "La Nuit Etoilee" which means "Starry Starry Night"!)

This picture says it all...I was so touched...Dear drew me a card...of all things I love! E.g. Cuecue, Elmo, Harry Potter, Eiffel Tower, England, Liverpool and many more...(The first letter of each of them pieces up to become my name - S-H-E-E-N-A, except Cuecue! :P) And he bought me...the latest Ipod Classic! It has always been a dream to own an mp3 player...But I always put it off course I feel the pinch to buy it and also I have been using my phone to listen to mp3s.
I was already tearing when I saw the card...And when I opened the present...I was dumbfounded...and Dear said "You always say I don't love you...See I so 疼 you...I want you to be happy...I don't like you to be unhappy..." I really cried then. =X (Music somehow has some soothing effect on me especially when I'm frustrated.)
Then we took more pictures and explored the place a little more...

Then...we proceeded uphill (got to walk up a slopey hill which has street lamps with minimal lightings and cars driving just inches away from your skin!)
And...we head towards Ben & Jerry's!!!

The place was super crowded...with people of all ages...haha...And the songs played were those from the Boyband era (the likes of Westlife and BSB, I like!)
Our dessert! Plush food and strawberry cheesecake with caramel sauce and mini m&ms! Super nice! I love icecream! It makes me HAPPY!

I totally enjoyed my night out with Dear! Hope Dear enjoyed it too!
Thanks to my Erjie for lending us the car and ownself took mrt to Airport with KS even though she was sick. It meant a lot to me!
I wanna end by telling Dear that even though you think you may not be able to give me many and every thing I long for, but the very fact that you took everything you have to give me as much as you can, this alone already touches me and means so much to me. Thank you for loving me...and I wanna quote something from the movie "Love Actually" - To me, you are perfect. :)
