Our Wedding Shots

James - Vivocity Marche

Whew! Finally my exams are through! Time for some bloggin!

After buying the 7th Harry Potter book that day, I met Dear again in the evening to go to Vivocity for a nice dinner.

I knew she really liked Marche, the concept and the food, the ambience and all and since we've not tried the outlet at Vivo, why not?

The cute mascot of Marche greeted us when we sat down.

We grabbed our Mealcards excitedly and began exploring the place and choosing our food!

Here is the Seafood Paella we ordered.
It looked really tempting with its myriad of colours and delectable seafood (consisting of mussells, fish, calamari and prawns) we simply couldn't resist placing an order for it.

And here's the Rosti w/ Snail sausage we ordered.

This dish is superb, the union between the sour cream, potatos, onions and sausages is absolutely splendid! If you visit Marche, it's a must try! Also, not many places let you view how they prepare this dish. It was a joy not just to eat but to watch as well!

After the main courses were polished off the plates by 2 'ravenous creatures' *hehehe*
There was a sudden emptiness and an inadequate uneasy feeling in the air.

Looking at each other, suddenly time stood still for a split second, no other words was required, we both knew what was missing...............WE NEED DESSERT!!! So I grabbed Dear's hand and we ran to the dessert station! Tsk tsk tsk! A pair of gluttons! hahaha

Freshly-made Crepes filled w/ caramelised bananas and strawberries and topped with Panna Cotta Ice Cream

I mean look at this, look at this! How can anyone resist this? Any thoughts of putting on of weight or sinfulness got thrown out the window man!

I don't know, but somehow the combination of warm, freshly-prepared crepes/waffles/brownies topped with creamy ice-cream ALWAYS hits the spot no matter what. Don't you guys agree?

FYI: An explanation of what is Panna Cotta;
Panna cotta
Part of Speech: n
Definition: a type of crème caramel, a cold light molded egg custard flavored with caramel
Etymology: Italian 'cooked cream'
Usage: cooking
