Alright, enough of crap. This is a food entry. It's about some really nice duck rice/noodles stalls that we tried over a span of the last few months.
First up, the duck rice stall just the next street from my house, at the coffeeshop along Joo Chiat Road. This stall sells roasted duck/pork/char siew (erm, there's another kind of roasted pork meat with alternating layers of fats and meat wan, not the same as char siew). The food is really good and they serve nice lotus soup if you eat there too. Their colourless sweet sauce and chilli are nice too and the boss will be super willing to give you more of them. They seem to open the stall to sell whatever they have for the day, not really out to make a lot of money, coz they closes quite early around evening time at times once they finished selling everything. Here are pictures of the duck rice and lotus soup.

Next up, last fri nite (b4 CGM) Dear finally tried the duck rice stall at Geylang Bahru market! The one I had during my IA days lunches. Haha. It only sells braised duck rice. The soup is not too bad. But I feel the duck and its sauce is nicer. Dear also feels it's nice. No wonder so many of my IA frens like this duck rice so much. Hehe.

Hehe took a snap shot of Dear buying the duck rice. Haha.

This is it.

Oh and we actually went to the NTUC there to buy these US donut peaches to eat. Haha. Oops, these are not ducks. Haha! Notice how flat these peaches are! I really love fruits like peaches, cherries, plums and nectarines. Hehe. It doesn't help that I had so many nice ones in Europe last time. Hehe. I even have this phrase..."A Plum a day, keeps the doctor away." LOL.
Lastly, it's this duck rice/noodles stall we tried at Bedok interchange food centre last night. It's near the Teo's Noodles at the side facing the interchange. Dear tried the roast duck rice, while I tried the braised duck noodles. We quite like the food but the highlight is the soup. It's the herbal kinda duck soup. Very nice. Haha.

The rice looks like the one from the first stall right? Haha maybe all of them just look like that.

Ok, I personally like this kinda egg noodles, so it was great for me.
Oops, just realised we didn't take a picture of the very nice soup. Haha but looks alone don't tempt you to drink it though. So you should just try it yourself. Haha.
We also shared the dessert from a stall in front that was calling us. Haha. Tried this ginko barley dessert. Not bad lar. But I still prefer my Mum's one. Haha. My JC frens tried b4 when she made for my JC gathering at home earlier this year. It's much thicker and of course with more generous servings of ginko nuts. Haha.

I believed we blogged about this kway chap stall at Dunman food centre b4. That stall also sells braised duck rice. Also very very nice. Recently I seem to love eating duck rice/noodles. Haha. Okay, just to clarify, these are bad wild ducks for eating. Not royal ducks like the one I have. HAHA.
